NOUNS

Nouns is a punk/noise rock band formed in 2013 with the release of their first album Still Bummed. This album is their most famous to this day, although they have mostly distanced themselves from the signature sound of this album. This album contains their most famous song Dogs. While the first half of the album is mostly standard for the time and genre of the project, the second half gets more experimental, resembling what their future work will become. The album was recorded entirely in the bedroom of the band’s vocalist/guitarist Hunter Clifton Mann, who later also took over the role of the drummer in the band’s “studio” recordings, which turned Nouns into a solo-project, with the other band members only being present in live performances.

After their first album

In 2014 they released their follow-up album Still, after which they released no music for over 7 years until the release of the EP Lonely Place of Dyin. Their latest album While Of Unsound Mind released in 2022 is the only project of theirs that has come close to the commercial success of their first album from 2013.
