FGA

FGA Guide

FGA Farming

It's been a long time since the last FGA video where I explained the old version of the app. Many things have changed since then, so I'll start from the beginning and explain everything in the new version.

This video is mainly for beginners who don’t know about FGA. However, people who are already familiar with it can explore on their own or skim through the video to find new features.

To get started, visit the GitHub page for FGA. If you scroll down, you’ll find a link to the website and a download button. Clicking on it will take you to the assets section, where you can download the APK file. Once downloaded, install the app. If you already have it installed, you can skip this step.

After installing, open FGA. You may see a message saying "Accessibility Service Disabled." You'll need to enable it. Click on FGA, select "Enable," and then go back. Next, click on "Start Service." If a message appears about missing overlay permissions, go to your phone settings, find FGA, and enable the required permissions.

The app will also ask you to select a folder where it can store files such as images and screenshots. You can choose an existing folder or create a new one. Once the folder is selected, go back to the app and proceed with the setup.

At this point, you’ll see a play button, but since we haven’t configured anything yet, we’ll need to set up battle configurations. Navigate to "Battle Configs," where you can create a new configuration. Name it accordingly (e.g., "Dantes Setup"), add notes if needed, and proceed to configure commands.

Commands tell FGA how to execute battles. You'll assign actions for each wave, such as activating skills, selecting targets, and using Noble Phantasms. The interface provides options for setting up skill sequences, selecting servants, and executing attacks efficiently.

Once the setup is complete, start a battle and test the automation. If everything is configured correctly, FGA will handle the battle for you, ensuring optimal skill usage and attack sequences.

That’s the basic setup! You can experiment with different configurations and find features to optimize your farming experience.

After setting up the battle configuration, the next step is to assign specific commands for each wave of the battle. Imagine you have three servants on the screen. The first one is your main damage dealer, the second is a support, and the third is another ally.

In the first wave, you’ll typically activate NP gain skills to charge your servant’s Noble Phantasm. Buffs like attack boosts and quick card enhancements should be used strategically. Once the skills are applied, you can set the app to use the NP automatically.

You’ll notice buttons labeled A, B, C, D, F, and G, which correspond to different skills of your servants. Selecting a skill may prompt you to choose a target, but some skills don’t require one. If no target is needed, simply select "No Target" and proceed.

For example, if you’re using a Skadi-based setup, you’ll activate her first skill (marked as E), which buffs quick cards. You’ll then select the appropriate servant to receive the buff, ensuring optimal damage output.

As you progress through the battle, additional commands can be configured for skill activations and NP usage in later waves. Each step ensures that your farming runs are automated efficiently without the need for manual input.

At the end of the setup, you can save the configuration and test it in a battle. If the automation works correctly, FGA will handle the process, allowing you to farm materials and experience points without manual effort.

Once you have set up your battle configuration, it’s time to test it. Start a battle and let FGA execute the commands you’ve assigned. If everything is configured correctly, the app will automatically activate skills, use Noble Phantasms, and select attack cards without any manual input.

If something doesn’t work as expected, you can tweak the settings. For example, if an ability isn’t activating at the right moment, check if it requires a target or if the sequence needs adjusting. The app allows you to modify commands, reorder skills, and optimize farming efficiency.

Additionally, you can experiment with different teams. Some farming setups benefit from double Skadi for quick loops, while others may rely on an Arash or Chen Gong setup for wave clearing. The flexibility of FGA lets you automate various team compositions based on your farming needs.

Beyond basic farming, FGA also supports advanced features like friend support selection, CE detection, and skill cooldown tracking. If you're running a specific event or farming node, you can configure settings to optimize performance.

One key feature is the ability to select friend supports automatically. If you’re farming with a specific servant like Waver or Skadi, FGA can filter and choose the right support without manual input. You can also set it to refresh the support list if the desired servant isn’t available.

For those using rooted devices, additional features like screenshot-based detection and faster automation are available. However, even on non-rooted devices, FGA is highly effective for daily farming and event grinding.

Another useful feature of FGA is its ability to handle event farming efficiently. When limited-time events require farming specific nodes repeatedly, the app can automate the process, saving you time and effort.

To further optimize farming, you can configure the app to automatically use battle items like Apples or event-specific refills. This ensures that farming continues uninterrupted, even if stamina runs out. You can set the app to stop after a certain number of runs or when you’ve reached your farming goal.

FGA also supports multi-wave battle setups. For example, if you’re running a three-wave quest, you can configure different skill activations for each wave. This is useful for setups that require a combination of NP looping and card-based attacks.

The app also provides options for controlling card selection. If your team relies on Brave Chains or specific command cards, you can adjust the settings to prioritize certain types of attacks. This allows for better NP gain and damage optimization.

For those farming rare materials, FGA can be used to automate free quests and event nodes, reducing the time spent manually grinding. Instead of repeatedly tapping through battles, the app handles everything, letting you focus on other tasks.

Lastly, once you’ve fine-tuned your configurations, you can save them for future use. This is especially useful for recurring events or farming nodes that you revisit frequently. By loading a saved configuration, you can start farming instantly without re-entering commands.

While FGA is a powerful automation tool, you may encounter occasional issues. Here are some common problems and how to fix them:

1. Accessibility Service Not Working

  • Ensure that the FGA accessibility service is enabled in your device settings.
  • If it gets disabled automatically, try restarting your device and re-enabling it.
  • Some phones may have battery optimization settings that disable background services. Check your settings and exclude FGA from battery optimization.

2. Overlay Permission Missing

  • If FGA shows a missing overlay permission error, go to your phone’s settings, find FGA under app permissions, and enable "Display Over Other Apps."
  • Without this permission, FGA cannot interact with the game properly.

3. Support Selection Not Working

  • Make sure you’ve configured the support filter correctly.
  • If the app isn’t selecting the correct support servant, try adjusting the refresh settings or manually selecting the support once to let FGA recognize it.

4. Skill Activation Fails or Occurs at the Wrong Time

  • Check if the skill requires a target and ensure it's properly assigned in the battle configuration.
  • If the order of skill usage isn’t working as expected, you may need to rearrange the sequence in the settings.

5. Game Resolution or UI Issues

  • FGA is designed to work best with specific screen resolutions. If you experience misaligned clicks, try adjusting your game’s display settings.
  • Some phone models may require custom calibration for proper touch recognition.

6. Rooted vs. Non-Rooted Devices

  • Rooted devices offer additional features like faster screen detection and improved accuracy, but FGA works well on non-rooted phones too.
  • If you experience slow response times, consider using the "Root Mode" for better automation (if applicable to your device).

By following these troubleshooting steps, you can ensure smooth and uninterrupted automation for your farming needs.

To get the best results from FGA, consider the following optimization tips:

1. Fine-Tune Your Battle Configurations

  • Customize each wave’s actions based on the enemy setup.
  • If you're running an NP-looping setup, ensure your skills and supports provide enough NP charge each turn.
  • Test different skill orders to maximize efficiency.

2. Use Auto-Support Selection Effectively

  • If you rely on a specific support servant (e.g., Waver, Skadi, Castoria), set FGA to auto-refresh until the correct support appears.
  • You can also filter for specific Craft Essences to ensure the best farming results.

3. Save and Load Configurations

  • Instead of setting up from scratch each time, save your most frequently used setups.
  • Loading a saved configuration ensures consistency and saves time when farming the same nodes repeatedly.

4. Minimize Interruption Risks

  • Enable "Do Not Disturb" mode while farming to prevent notifications from interfering with automation.
  • Ensure your device doesn’t enter sleep mode while running FGA. Some phones have settings that restrict background apps—make sure FGA is excluded.

5. Monitor Runs Occasionally

  • While FGA is highly reliable, check in from time to time, especially during long farming sessions.
  • If you notice any issues, tweak your configurations for better accuracy.

By following these tips, you can improve the stability and efficiency of your automated farming setup.

For users looking to get the most out of FGA, there are several advanced settings and customization options:

1. Manual Card Selection Preferences

  • By default, FGA selects attack cards randomly after executing skills and Noble Phantasms.
  • If you want to prioritize specific card types (Arts, Buster, or Quick), you can adjust settings to favor optimal damage output.

2. Skill Timing Adjustments

  • Some setups require precise skill activation timing, especially for NP looping strategies.
  • If a skill is activating too early or too late, you can modify the sequence to ensure buffs apply at the right moment.

3. Multi-Team Configurations

  • If you're farming multiple different nodes, you can create separate configurations for each one and switch between them easily.
  • This is especially useful during events where different setups are needed for various quests.

4. Auto-Replenish Stamina

  • FGA supports automatic use of Apples, Quartz, or event refills to keep farming uninterrupted.
  • You can set limits to avoid excessive use of resources while maximizing farming efficiency.

5. Event-Specific Farming

  • Some events have special farming mechanics, such as enemy class advantages or break bars.
  • You can customize skill usage to account for these variations and ensure the most efficient clears.

6. Testing Mode

  • If you're unsure whether your setup will work, enable test mode to simulate the sequence before running it in an actual battle.
  • This helps identify any misconfigurations without wasting AP.

These advanced features allow users to customize their farming experience even further, making FGA a versatile tool for different playstyles and farming strategies.
