Silent's playstyle

The Silent is geared more towards triggering combos than relying on powerful singleton cards. To help with this she has plenty of card draw options, energy manipulation, cards that generate tokens, and combo pieces that play off on any card played. She has many cards that are very niche, that only provide a benefit in the right deck and right situation.
This is one of her downfalls, too much reliance on setting up combos means she is more at mercy of the luck of the draw than other characters. Buidling a silent deck requires more attention to keep it well-balanced.
Piloting a Silent deck takes skill too, there are more options to consider each turn and play-order greatly alters the end results.
The Silent is less attack focused than other characters, she has more variety in skills instead.
Unique to Silent is her ability to poison, a simple mechanic with uncapped damage output. It's really potent because the total damage increases quadratically by the amount of poison applied. A nice boon is that it ignores defenses. The drawback is that it takes time to set up and it can be hard to accelerate a target's death in a pinch. If a monster is set to die to 15 poison at the end of the turn, without a source of 15+ direct damage we can't stop it from acting first. Usually poison decks need great defenses to survive long enough.
Shiv-centric decks are faster and handle crowds better but have a harder time against bosses.
There are Discard synergies, that don't need to become the main focus of the deck. Most card draw or energy manipulation is tied to discards, use them to support the main theme of the deck.
