This season, aptly named Prep Phase, is just a beginning to Siege's 10th year. The season after this will bring many changes to the game, such as an audio and visual rehaul.

Year 10 Season 1 - Prep Phase:

Year 10 Season 1 of Rainbow Six Siege, Operation Prep Phase, brings exciting gameplay improvements and system updates. The season fully launches the Reputation System, rewarding positive behavior and penalizing toxicity to create a better player experience. Dynamic Matchmaking is introduced to enhance balance and queue times, ensuring fairer and faster matches. Ubisoft continues refining Siege with quality-of-life updates and seasonal content, keeping the game fresh for both casual and competitive players. With these changes, Operation Prep Phase sets the stage for a more engaging and strategic experience in the evolving world of Rainbow Six Siege.

New Operator - Raurora

Rauora, the latest Attacker in Rainbow Six Siege's Operation Prep Phase, hails from New Zealand and brings a unique tactical advantage to the battlefield. Her gadget, the D.O.M. (Deployable Omnilink Mesh) Panel Launcher, allows her to deploy bulletproof panels on doorways, providing strategic cover and controlling sightlines. This ability enables teams to fortify key positions or create safe entry points during attacks. Her loadout also includes the 417, the same DMR that Lion and Twitch has and her secondary is the brand new Reaper MK2, a modified glock, that has an extended magazine. For secondary gadgets we can choose from breach charges and smoke grenades.
