Gameplay
Kaveh is a five-star dendro claymore user, he provides a massive buff to the bloom reaction, which is generally considered to be one of the weaker reactions originally.
Bloom
Bloom is a reaction that triggers when dendro and hydro react on an enemy, this creates a bloom core which detonates a few seconds later which is when most of the damage happens with the initial proc being more or less negligible. This, however, makes it a very unreliable reaction where you can easily miss a majority of your damage. To learn more about the reaction Check out KQM's reaction guide
Kaveh not only makes your bloom cores almost instantly detonate after being created, he also provides a massive damage bonus to the reaction with the only important stat to consider being Elemental Mastery making him extremely easy to build and ensures a higher than usual damage-floor.
Team archetypes
Kaveh excels in bloom teams as one of the best and safest driver options. He is also a great driver for any dendro related team due to his high personal damage, flexible rotations, fast AOE dendro application and being one of the most durable on-field units in the game. He also doesn’t force you to restrict your movement into a circle like many of the other dendro options such as Nahida.
He is also an option in quicken, burgeon and hyperbloom teams, however he isn’t quite as exceptional there as in his bloom teams so we won’t be focusing on them here.
Best Teammates
His best teams generally include Nilou, even though her bloom damage bonus is insignificant compared to Kaveh’s and requires you to play only dendro and hydro characters in the rest of the team’s slots.
Xingqiu also functions fell due to syncing you hydro and dendro applications on the enemy making it very easy to control who has ownership, thus not forcing you to build more Elemental Mastery than necessary.
Nahida, while overall being an inferior unit to Kaveh can also provide some useful buffs and ability to hold supportive artifact sets to further boost his personal damage.
Baizhu can also be an option against aggressive enemies, providing teamwide healing and extra resistance to interruption.
